Cambodian Justice Project
In a unique collaborative project that brings together Cambodians, Singaporeans and law students from the International Human Rights Law Clinic at the University of California, Berkeley, the AJA legal team has worked with clinic teams for the 2009-10 and 2011-12 academic years. AJA currently represents 132 ethnic minority Khmer Krom victims seeking to have the four defendants prosecuted for genocide. In 2009-10 clinic students participating in the Cambodia Justice Project traveled to Cambodia in October 2009 to interview civil parties and in filing an appeal. In 2012, clinic students again traveled to Cambodia with the legal team to prepare for cross-examination of expert witnesses due in late 2012. More here: http://www.law.berkeley.edu/
